Ah, yes, summertime is upon us. With the onslaught on high temperatures, bright colors and sexy bikinis also comes everyone’s favorite pastime — the summertime fling.
I must say that already I find myself crushing on a couple nerd girls, but that’s as far as I’ll go with my personal info for now. I think these two songs/videos from one of my favorite hip-hop groups, A Tribe Called Quest, can explain it for me.
The first vid, “Bonita Applebum,” to me represents the initial “crush” if you will, while the second, “Find A Way,” leans more to bridging the communication gaps between men and women when it comes to relationships. Watch, listen and learn!
